One of the themes for gardening that just doesn't seem to be going away is the trend towards Junk Gardening.

If you love rusty stuff salvaged from old homesteads, tins and other recycled and repurposed containers, and have a fondness for finding creative ways to display them in your garden as vignettes, you may be a junk gardener.

The Eclectic Eggporeum got a makeover recently, and made the leap from chicken house to bird themed museum.

It's been a lot of fun refurbishing another small area at the entrance to the xeric garden, a Vintage Wood Stove which now holds all the cooking themed garden junk in a fun display of enamel ware and succulent plants.
