Do you have a question to ask about rustic crafts? A problem you need help with? Ask the Artisan!

prI've been making funky garden art for a while now, and sometimes you just need a guiding hand to help you get over a difficult bump in the road.

I've done this solo, teaching myself the techniques and ways to make better crafts. Developing this takes time and persistence - never give up.  Just change tactics.

Although I don't have professional training, what I do have is a lot of experience figuring things out and making it work.  There is something to be said for problem solving skills!

Some crafts have a steep learning curve - finding out how to cut metal stars to attach to your large grapevine wreath, for instance can be hard to figure out by yourself.

My tutorials throughout the site are easy to follow, but sometimes you may have a problem with a certain aspect of the craft.

If this sounds like you, I can help you out.

If you're stuck and can't think of the way to proceed, post here with some pictures of your project so far, and we'll brainstorm to figure it out so you can get it finished - I know all about half finished projects that stymie you.

You may have found a better way to do something - let us know!  Making life easier for others is such a great way to pay it forward. You may have discovered a helpful way to prevent twigs from splitting, or how to make paint stick where you want it.

Whatever it is, please post lots of details, and a picture or two.

Post your question or tip to the Woman of Many Sticks below, so everyone can have access to the hints and tips;
