Thymus praecox - Mother of Thyme

Mother-of-thyme, the biggest and most vigorous of all, this thyme has glossy dark green foliage, and seldom blooms very much. I like it for its weed suppressing feature, and the billowing effect. It can reach around 4” in height, after which it falls over gracefully. It’s always neat, never balding in the centre, and I sometimes have been quite severe with pruning it, which doesn’t phase it! It will bounce back quite well within a season, even better than before. Not recommended for walking on.

Price for Thymus plugs is $70 per flat and minimum ½ flat of any variety. The plugs are 72 per flat, ½ a flat is 36.
