Rurality Newsletter - All Rustic News October 01, 2025 |
This is the best time of the year - autumn! Crisp fall days, leaves changing colour, lots of nuts and seeds to gather for crafts. The only down fall is the lower light levels and shorter days. October 1 2025One of the best ways to utilize the lovely weather is to go out and do some wildcrafting . Finding a stash of pine cones in pristine condition on top of the ground under a Ponderosa pine, or finally being able to see the structure of the branches and twigs because the leaves are off them is the best thing. Make sure you take some tools along with you when you go, sometimes it's hard to find your way back to it.
What will you make with all the
twigs
and
pine cones
you collect? There are many ways to use them for different
rustic christmas crafts
(yes, it's time to start). If you run out of ideas, there's always a good source of inspiration on Pinterest, with its huge library of pictures and links to the tutorials. If you haven't gone yet, or it's been a while, go now.
If you are busy building some rustic crafts we would love to see them; go to the page linked here - scroll to the bottom to see where to share your story and add some pictures. Join the Rustic And Succulents Group to share your ideas and inspiration, we'd love to have you! When you've built something you're proud of, brag it up!
