There are those first days where the wind is actually warm, when you know in your bones that spring is definitely here. There might be a set back, and rainy days, but it is temporary.

Everything is finally growing and the leaves are out, even if the flowers are still hesitating.

In May, you can still get a frost, so be careful if you're doing hypertufa. It doesn't like to freeze in the curing stage, so make sure to protect it. A couple of layers of row cover, or a piece of bubble wrap is all it needs. If it's under the eaves or in a sheltered place, all good.

If you're getting started with hypertufa this mailout will help you with first steps, and give you some inspiration for a few projects. If you have any questions about making hypertufa, the Hypertufa How-to Manual has all the deets and many more projects to follow along with.
