Are you gearing up for a spring in the garden, building projects to make your heart happy and your soul sing?

May 15 2026

Why not think about building a fence or two? They don't all need to be the same, but the one design that grabs my attention is always a twig lattice fence . Maybe you feel the same way, and one will be on the honey do list at your home.

Another project that seems to add so much is a hypertufa leaf . I've seen fountains with several in a tier formation, with water spilling over. Or, several in a row like stepping stones, to cross a garden bed. Or a single one at the base of the downspout so the water doesn't splash too hard and erode the soil.

If you have access to an old dump site, don't discount the trash. It can give you a lot of creative ways to make old oil cans into fantastic planters. All of these are excellent projects to get planning. I hope your spring list is full of enticing and creative ways to make your garden a lush and fun filled place.
