Junk Journal Cover

If you've never heard of a junk journal, it's a journal that you make out of the binding of an old book, then fill it with pages (often pulled from magazines and lined paper that you dye with coffee), and any kind of bits you like. I have packed it with more mysterious things since this was taken. All vintage photos of people do not have faces. There are games like fortune telling fish and a finger fortune teller. A paper puppet, post cards, photo slides, pressed flowers, charms, crystals, stickers, fabric... Pretty much everything is inked or stained. If you've never done this, it's really fun. You should try it!

I love this idea!

I did something similar with pages from Country Living magazines and other ones that were on similar topics - I had it all in clear plastic sleeves...then the mice found it in the shed.

Next time, I'll make sure it stays safe.
